State workers lose bargaining, gain carry rights

Tomorrow, it'll be legally permissible to carry a concealed weapon in to the Wisconsin State Capitol, whether you're a legislator, state employee, or a citizen. Is this really a good idea in the interest of Scott Walker's personal safety?

Happy Halloween To Governor Walker

We know he's a monster this year for Halloween, but what about the past? Let's try to imagine Scott Walker's costumes of youth. Ronald Reagan seems to be the foundation of today's ideas.

Walker Stalker Terry Fritter: Following Scott to Tennessee

above: the Redneck Party of TN

Scott Walker is holding his jobs plan high, and taking it to Tennessee. It just so happens that Walker Stalker Terry Fritter and lovely wife Patty were in the smokey mountains during douchenozzle's trip to the valley. Guess what that means? Everywhere he goes.

Chris Dickert: Recalls For "Immoral" Situations Only

Self-centered columnist for the corporate rag, which some folks call the Wisconsin State Journal ,Chris Rickert has deep reservations about recalling Scott Walker, since there hasn't been, in his eyes, an immoral situation to call for it. Nothing is immoral about stealing money from Wisconsin families and telling them they're doing their part. Nor is the very thought of inciting violence at the winter protests. Freezing wages is an act which God himself would be jealous of. This blog post will honor neither a link to Chris Dickert's piece, nor a photo of him. He's a wanna-be-journalist who specializes in spewing the fact that he doesn't care about anything. However, here's the link to cancel the WSJ: http://host.madison.com/circulation/

After you consider the possible ecological implications of mining iron ore in Wisconsin (in Iron County, no less), you need to think about the money that the jobs put in to the local economy in places like Hurley, WI.

Superlawyer Mike Riley from Axley Law: Castle Doctrine

A man’s home is his castle, particularly if he is armed. The Republicans want to broaden the self defense “castle doctrine” which essentially allows the use of deadly force when someone enters your home. Traditionally in Wisconsin and in most states the use of deadly force was authorized only if the person reasonably believes that using such force is necessary to prevent death or great bodily harm. Under this Bill a court must presume that the person reasonably believed that the force was necessary to prevent death or great bodily harm if the individual against whom the force was used was unlawfully in the home and the person was present.

Lucy Mathiak: Leaving Madison School Board

Lucy Mathiak has served 6 very active years on Madison's school board. Now, it's time to move on, with thoughts of being an educator again in mind. Such an interesting relationship with this woman since she was elected. Remember how she would knit all the time at those meetings? Lucy attended every school board meeting (knitting needles in hand) before being elected. After my strong criticism of her hobby work during important discussions, we became good friends who share a vision for Madison Public Schools' students and their teachers.
